Would you like a free Discussion-For-You account? Ok great, this page will discuss how to get one.

First, out of respect for your time, let's explain what the free accounts are not.

Disclaimer
Sadly, I'm not as rich as Google and Yahoo and other giant net companies, and thus can't afford to give everybody on earth free accounts to do whatever they want to with.

If you're shopping for a free account, then you get what not being that rich is like.

I've spent a few months putting this service together, and server fees and support requests are ongoing. So, not being Google, I have to ask free account users to put something of value on the table. You understand, right?

For the free accounts, I'm looking for real partners, people can both build and lead intelligent and informative conversations on some specific topic. Money isn't important, content is.

As you read the rest of this page, please keep in mind that if free accounts turn out to not be right for you, other options are available that may be more suitable.

Can You Build A Conversation?
Are you in a position to gather together a group of people who are interested in discussing a specific topic?

We don't need thousands of people. A couple dozen informed and enthusiastic posters can create a great conversation.

Do you belong to a group, club, organization, church, school? Do you have a website that gets more than a few visitors a day?

Are you willing and able to promote your group until you have a good discussion going?

Can you build a conversation?

Can You Lead A Conversation?
Moderation is required for free accounts. That is, I'm looking for people who are willing to review posts before the posts are published to their group.

Free account owners should have some knowledge of the topic they wish to discuss, and should be able to seed their group with relevant posts that will spark discussion by other group members.

Discussion-For-You free accounts are not free for all chat rooms.

For the free accounts, I'm looking for people who share our quality content philosophy and who are willing and able to lead posters in to a discussion that is genuinely informative for readers.

In short, I'm looking for group leaders who will use their free account for it's intended purpose.

Do You Want To Be Partners?
With the free accounts, we jointly own the content and mailing list that is produced.

You can publish your discussions on your site, and I can publish them here on Discussion-For-You.com.

If your account generates quality content for this site, I'll be pleased to provide you with a free account. If that doesn't happen, I'll probably lose interest, because there won't be much in it for me. Ok?

We can both send mailings to the user list that is created.

With our Plus and Site accounts, you don't have to moderate your group, and you exclusively own the content and the mailing list. So long as the content you are publishing is legal and generally suitable for the public at large, you're on your own to do things your own way.
